The Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) has been helping students since 1981. We are the oldest, locally owned and operated Tutoring provider in the Tidewater area. We also provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or those with behavioral difficulties. The LRC provides assessment and advocacy services. We are passionate about helping all of our clients reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Our Director

The owner/director, Nancy Harris-Kroll, has her Master’s of Science in Education majoring in the area of Special Education. Nancy holds a Post Graduate Collegiate endorsement by the state of Virginia in the areas of Learning Disabilities and Emotional Disturbances. She also holds a Virginia endorsement in Art PK-12. Nancy completed post graduate work in the area of Behavior Analysis at Penn State. She is currently recognized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Our Staff

The staff consists of qualified professionals. Each staff member is committed to helping their client(s) achieve their goals. Our staff works one-on-one with the client to develop a strategic, customized plan which is unique to their needs. We are passionate about ensuring our clients improve their academic performance, increase verbal behavior, decrease inappropriate behavior, build confidence and become self motivated.
